Ce conglomérat contient en abondance des galets de roches volcaniques et plutoniques dans une matrice gréseuse.

This conglomerate contains abondant pebbles of volcanic and plutonic rocks in a sandstone matrix.
GALETS DE CONGLOMERAT
Rhyol = galets de rhyolite à phénocristaux de quartz (Q) et de feldspaths (F) automorphes dans un fond felsitique gris verdâtre. Rhyolite semblable à celle de Sainte Magnance.
Gd = galet de granodiorite à quartz, feldspaths, biotite et amphibole. Ce type de roche est rencontré localement dans les gneiss de Chastellux.
CONGLOMERATE PEBBLES
Rhyol = rhyolite pebbles with euhedral quartz (Q) and feldspars (F) phenocryts in a grey greenish felsitic grounmass. Rhyolite similar to the Sainte Magnance rhyolite.
Gd = granodiorite pebble with quartz, feldspars, biotite and amphibole. This type of rock is locally encountered in the Chastellux gneisses.
